Project Background
In the heart of winter this past July, Accel Projects proudly completed a premium electrical installation at a luxurious Bantry Bay penthouse—a sea-view residence defined by sophistication, smart living, and striking design.
Located high above the Atlantic coastline, the penthouse offers breathtaking panoramic views from both the patio and master bedroom—an elegant backdrop for a home radiating with class. This project formed part of a collaboration with Atlantic Renovators, bringing together multiple trades, suppliers, and specialists working seamlessly on a tight, precision-driven timeline.
Complete Electrical Installation from Scratch
Accel Projects handled the full electrical scope, designing and installing every component from the ground up. This included new plugs, switches, lighting infrastructure, and a complete DB board upgrade. All cabling was brought fully up to code and specification, ensuring the safest and most efficient electrical foundation for the home.
Energy-efficient LED technology was a key focus, with premium LED strip lighting used throughout to create depth, ambience, and exceptional visual detail.

To complement the home’s design, a full smart home automation system was installed, allowing lighting moods, colours, and scenes to be adjusted at the touch of a button. Integrated security and smart controls ensure effortless living and enhanced peace of mind.
Exterior Ambience
Ambient exterior lighting was added to highlight the penthouse’s architectural lines and enhance the serene seaside atmosphere, especially during Cape Town’s winter evenings.
Signed Off & Delivered on Deadline
A full Certificate of Compliance (COC) was issued upon completion, meeting all safety and regulatory standards. The client was thrilled with the result, so much so that a Tesla inverter installation is already underway as the next phase of the project.
